Hi Mario, The CPA Bootcamp is going to be great.
I just had a look at Affiliate Jump, it is expensive, an up front cost and the a monthly fee anywhere from 35 dollars up to 99 dollars a month.
I think with the cheaper membership you can have very limited websites.
The only thing in why I was thinking of sighning is that they mention it is hard to get accepted into a cpa network if you live outside of US.
I’m not sure if this is right just wondering if anyone knows this to be true or not. I live in Australia so not sure.
I hope I posted this in the right section, if not apologies in advanced.
Thanks for your time looking at this.
Can’t wait to get started and to implement
Kind regards
Shane.

Hi Shane,

I would try Max Bounty. I was able to get into the network easily. Just follow all of Mario’s answers on the forum post. Then when they e-mail you they will send you your affiliate managers AIM name. Message them on AIM and ask them if you could assist them in reviewing your application. They should call you then and you should be good to go..

Thankyou so much for the advice John.
I will apply to them I am going to get a site set up as suggested from the warrior forum and then once I have my site ready I will go ahead and apply.
Thanks so much for your advice and congrats on getting into the network.
Kind regards
Shane

I just finished watching a video, called Reboot Your Brain, by John Reese, that I think everyone needs to see if they haven’t already. But be warned, you will likely need at least 2 hours to complete the exercise after the video finishes (another hour), and you will also need 3 seperate notepads. However, it will work like nothing else to get you in the perfect success mindset, ready to take immediate action. Everyone needs to do this at least once, but it’s especially important for those who have yet to take action, this will be the catalyst that sets you in motion.

No opt-in, sales page or anything, just a video on white

Tyler, thanks for posting this video. I’ve watched it and it’s awesome. I’ll do the exercise this weekend. Great stuff!

OK I’m in at CJ and Market Health ;-D
I’m gonna try all the others on the wf post as well….
Lets GO!

Hi Mario,

I just wanted to share a resource with the group. There is a CPA/Affiliate directory called Offer Vault. Several CPA and Affiliate networks are listed in this site. You just enter a keyword and the site will return a listing of CPA/Affiliate offers, payout per lead, payout per sale, and the associated network information. Here’s the web address:

http://www.offervault.com

Cheers,
Mike

Mario February 5, 2010 at 2:03 pm

Hi Mike, great share. I’ll mention this source again within the course!

orleifurreynisson February 2, 2010 at 9:39 pm

I allways called the office of the CPA network I was applaying for. I would fill out the aplication and wait one hour and then call them up and ask if they could rewiew my application quickly. They like when you do that and most likely they rewiew your application while you wait on the phone and if everything is filled out correctly you´ll get accepted.

Hi Mario,

I joined Commission Junction and Market Health without any problems. Your post in the WF really helped me a lot. Thanks very much for that.

Am anxious to get going. Hope you start the implementation phase soon.

Best regards,

Louise

Mario February 5, 2010 at 2:05 pm

Hi Louise, please make sure that you apply for more networks. Market Health and CJ are just two alternatives, they don’t really have a great deal
of CPA offers. Make sure you apply for more networks!

Louise February 5, 2010 at 6:32 pm

Hi Mario,
Thanks for the reply. I’ll join some more networks.Hope you had a good time in Orlando.

Yes how often are the steps going to be posted?

One note about applying — you don’t need a professionally designed site. You can use a WP blog with a static home page. The key is to list all your corroborating data (address/phone/etc.) on the footer of each page so your affiliate manager knows you are a real person.

I’ve had my affiliate manager let me know about the coolest converting offers – so start off by keeping the “exagerations” to a minimum and really befriend them – they know a lot!

:)

John February 4, 2010 at 10:56 pm

Hey Mario,

Just curious if you can provide some kind of outline of when we can expect updates.

Thanks!

Mario February 5, 2010 at 2:25 pm

Hi John,

there is no fixed schedule but the idea is to be active every day from Mo – Fr. But here’s the deal, the is a real time and real life example. Yes I know reading about Affiliate marketing and all the hype can be very exciting. Actually doing it isn’t always that exciting. Starting out it’s about creating and distributing content and that’s not always exciting right =). So as I have to do that myself there isn’t always going to be exciting content. Everybody can run a bootcamp and tell people how they ‘should’ do things. What I’m trying here is to do something other people don’t do, that is actually going through each step myself and showing you how it goes. That way you can see a real life example. If I’m lucky and I picked the right offer I’ll make money. If I picked the wrong offer, I’ll have to pick another offer. That’s just how it is. Anyway, no there isn’t a fixed schedule, but you can expect a lot of content in the next 7-14 days. After that, once we covered all the steps involved, it’s all about being persistent and patient.

John February 5, 2010 at 5:50 pm

Sounds great Mario!

Thanks so much for the explanation boss.

andrewjacobsen February 6, 2010 at 5:43 am

I thought in the video you said we would get content Friday?

Andrew

Mario February 6, 2010 at 1:38 pm

Yep that’s right. Didn’t you get my email? The content is posted above.

Hi guys,

I was approved for Maxbounty yesterday and got on with Neverblue today. The key is talking to them on the phone and just being honest. I have been an IM for about 3 years, and have not done near as good as I had hoped (which is why I am here!). I have up some blogs and a few websites but none of them are doing a whole lot.

When the girl at Neverblue and I were talking, I was up front and told her that even though I had some small successes, I was not really pulling in the cash I had hoped. I was honest and told her that my site that was submitted really only pulled about 100 visits a day but that I am continually working on it to improve rankings etc.

However, because my site is so niche specific (halloween costumes), that most of the Neverblue stuff I wanted to do was to write articles and point a domain to a blog that would highlight an offer.

I was honest and told her that I had little experience with CPA, BUT that I was taking a really good course from someone already in their network from the Warrior Forum. I think when I said that, she felt more at east.

The final thing I would add….if they tell you that they cannot approve you, ask them what you can do to become approved. Let them tell you what is needed. Then go do that. OR, don’t bother with them and find another network. There are so many out here. OH, and look on the WF because I have seen several CPA managers on the WF who will get you into their network.

Louise February 25, 2010 at 2:13 am

Hey Sharon,

Thanks very much for all that great information. I really appreciate it.

Best regards,

Louise

Mario February 25, 2010 at 5:03 am

Well done Sharon, congratulations. I like that you were honest and it seems like this actually helped you to get accepted.

IndiaQuinn February 25, 2010 at 10:07 pm

Great post.
I guess being honest is probably the closest you can come to being authentic. But as my dad always said, you dont always have to lie when not telling the truth.

desmondowens February 25, 2010 at 8:56 pm

Shannon good post. Mario I think some people are afraid to ask questions because they have been burnt before….not saying that you will but I think it may be in thier conditioning.

My question -When do you think we’ll see another video for the bootcamp?

Desmond

Mario February 27, 2010 at 2:17 am

Hi Desmond, what do you mean when you say they got burnt, in what sense? Regarding the bootcamp I unfortunately don’t have anything exciting to show. Article marketing isn’t a beautiful thing :) . I submit my articles and I’m waiting for conversions. Once I get an offer to convert, I’ll move on to some more exciting stuff like
optimizing your blog and building a list. Anyway, I understand where you are coming from, I should’ve made more updates. Thanks for reminding me, I’ll make an update now.

Carlos Barahona April 2, 2010 at 7:55 pm

Followed the tactics used in your forum post, and got accepted to ClickBooth today ;) .. everything running smooth, hope tech difficulties work out soon to get the videos up again.

Mario, have you heard of speed ppc?, I have xp in SPANISH adwords, what tools do you recommend besides market samurai?.

Thanks
Carlos

surfinmark April 18, 2010 at 1:42 pm

hi mario

thank you so much.

i have tried several systems in the past which all claimed to be suitable for newbies, but i got totally lost in all the technical stuff.

your system is perfect for me (+ other newbies) coz it is truely KISS, which is exactly what i need to get started, keep moving and get a result (even if it is just $5, i don’t care, i just need a result so that i know im is real for me).

with that experience and confidence i know that i will then be able to tackle the more technical stuff that will give me even better results.

so thanks again, you have delivered exactly (+more) of what you promised in the wso.

Just remove the /uncategorized part of the URL, then it’ll work :)

Mirika May 26, 2010 at 12:22 am

Hey Mario
Just wondering if you have any updates on the results for this case study.

Im wondering how it went, what tweeks you may have made along the way and if this little experiences has been profitible for you.

Cheers
Mirika

Mario June 1, 2010 at 6:38 pm

Hi Mirika,

I promoted this offer a little more and I made a handful of sales as long as I was submitting articles. I chose Markethealth because everybody could
sign up for it but I’m not happy with their offers, or let’s say with the way they were converting. If possible, make sure that you choose a different network
like Neverblue. As of right now, I’m not actively promoting CPA or Clickbank offers, I focus completely on product creation and I’m about to put one of my products on Clickbank. It’s impossible to focus on too many projects at the same time. The bootcamp was meant to give you all the basics that are necessary to understand the CPA game.

Mirika June 2, 2010 at 12:40 am

Thanks for the reply Mario.
I have another question, sorry to be a pain, however, one of your audios you talked about online marketing for offline businesses.

I have a couple of offline small businesses that I have spoken to about helping them gain some exposure online. One of them has asked me to put a proposal together, lol, that kinda set me back a bit, Im still new myself but well, im willing to give it a shot.

Do you have any suggestions as to where to start learning more about this and how to put together a proposal? Is this a possibile skills course you may run in the future?

As far as the CPA goes, I have finaly settled on 2 products to promote and got both blogs up and running this week. Im doing the article marketing now and I hope to have it all running a little smoother over the next couple of weeks.

Ill take a look at Neverblue though because I just couldnt find a product I liked on Markethealth site so thanks for the update.

Cheers
Mirika

Mario June 4, 2010 at 4:32 pm

Hey Mirika,

Funny that you asked about the offline niche, I actually do have something big coming next week, taking people from zero to hero, including proposal and
everything! Be on the lookout. Hey if you already have offline clients asking you for help, you might rather go for that niche instead of CPA!
